 | This is a session dedicated to celebrating and showing Love to BIPOC Women leaders and a couple who are NOT! Totally meant to honor and salute them for their contributions and shed light on how the impact of their leadership fuels and inspires teacher leaders like myself! It is sincerely meant to be a feel good session that reminds women how much their leadership is needed and may not even be realized to have poured into a generation of educator leaders, even us MALE leaders! A mix of recognition and calling to action to praise THIS generation of women leaders AND hopefully inspire the next through a mixed media approach and discussion of the footprints left by women in leadership on our profession AND on their sphere of influence on even BIPOC male teacher leaders!!

 | Once hopeless, homeless, and struggling to survive, I rose from adversity to become a district leader and advocate for compassionate leadership. In this empowering session, I share my journey of resilience, self-discovery, and transformation—demonstrating how pain can become purpose and setbacks can shape powerful leaders. Through my story, participants will explore the importance of gratitude, empathy, and confidence in educational leadership. Attendees will leave inspired to embrace their own power, rise above challenges, and lead others with courage, authenticity, and heart.
