This interactive session blends research, storytelling, and reflective practice to examine the StrongBlackWoman schema and its impact on emotional, mental, and physical health. Participants will engage in journaling, small-group conversations, grounding exercises, and self-care planning. The session emphasizes accessible, culturally resonant forms of healing such as meditation, rest, movement, and practices rooted in ancestral traditions. Attendees will gain tools to integrate self-care into daily life and learn how to support young Black girls in forming healthy wellness routines.
