This session will provide the audience with some background information of Assistive Technology (or A.T.) and when it needs to be written into an IEP. This session will share with you how students can gain Assistive Technology and when you might suggest that the student to have an A.T. Assessment. Some of the very latest tools will be shared so you can remove barriers for your students so that they are successful in school. Tools to remove barriers may be note taking programs, text to speech, speech to text, apps on the iPad, scanning pens, math applications, and more.
