The foundation of our power as a union to win the schools our students deserve begins at the worksite with an engaged and active membership. In this workshop, worksite leaders will review the fundamental skills for successfully engaging colleagues into taking collective action: listening skills, the steps for an organizing conversation and overcoming objections or tough questions. Designed for new and veteran leaders, this workshop will be leader-focused, with lots of discussion and role playing to practice and apply these skills.
